An interim driving test is, in a way, a practice exam. This gives you a sense of what a regular exam is like. The examiner can immediately see what you still need to work on. This ensures you’re well-prepared for your actual exam. During the interim test, you’ll also perform a number of specific maneuvers. If these are done correctly, you won’t have to perform them again during the actual exam.

You must always bring a valid ID, the invitation from the CBR and a self-reflection form to an interim driving test.

It is always possible to take a special test for students with fear of failure. If you have a fear of failure or are extremely nervous, you can request this special test.

In a test for students with test anxiety, you’ll be graded the same way as in a regular test. However, you’ll be given more time for a test for students with test anxiety than for a regular test. A regular test lasts 35 minutes, while a test for students with test anxiety lasts 1 hour and 20 minutes. During your driving test, you can take several breaks if you feel you’re getting too nervous.
